Marc Hardesty is a graduate of Mercer University School of Law and Furman University. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Army Judge Advocates General Corps (JAG). He served in the Persian Gulf War and was awarded numerous commendations, including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Bronze Star Medal. Marc has received the AV rating, the highest rating by Martindale Hubbell, and been named a Top Attorney by Jacksonville Magazine. He is actively involved in the community, serving the Jacksonville Public Library as a trustee, the Legal Board for the St. Johns Riverkeepers and as Past Chairman of the Jacksonville Planning Commission. Michael Tyde is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. He is an active member of the Jacksonville, Florida, community since 1986. He has worked for the State of Florida as both a public defender and prosecuting attorney. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for his work in obtaining million-dollar verdicts or settlements. Attorney Doug Clifton
Doug joined Hardesty, Tyde, Green & Ashton after running a solo practice in Jacksonville Beach where he focused on federal criminal defense, personal injury, and survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault. Doug began his career working for a statewide insurance defense firm before taking a position with the public defender’s office and shifting his focus from the needs of corporations and businesses to the needs of individuals. He has gained tremendous federal court experience as a member of the CJA panel for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the North East Florida Human Trafficking Coalition, working to combat human trafficking in the Jacksonville area. Doug is licensed to practice and has conducted trials in both Florida and Pennsylvania, representing clients in these areas:

What constitutes a personal injury?
